Get Motivated by Being Persistent

It was beautiful this spring weekend and I decided to work on my house. It included 1) talking down all my shutters 2) cleaned and painted them 3) reinstalling them 4) pressure cleaning the house to get it ready for painting the stucco portion of the house. Did it go as smooth as silk? Nope. In fact it took me the entire weekend. Plastic screws broke off in masonry holes and refused to come out. Hardware employees were clueless and had no answers. I busted my knuckles and they bled. The stucco on part of my house had be be chipped out and replaced. Screws that were supposed to work didn't. Drill bits snapped in half. Very tiring , very frustrating and very hot work. So what is the lesson? Don't ever give up stay at it- eventually the shutters all got up and look great. The stucco came off and the surface is now ready for new stucco. When you persist- you win and the adversity loses- and your level of motivation goes up. So no matter what just keep on going and the dogged persistent will pay off. I sit here today sore with busted knuckles but... victorious.
So what if you were truly persistent could you really accomplish?
